Leadership Stockton Graduates 22 New Members and Completes Two Community Service Projects

06/12/2026

Leadership Stockton, a program of the Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce, is proud to announce the graduation of the Class of 2026 and celebrates their dedication and work on two community projects. We are proud of their hard work and commitment to making Stockton a better place to live. These projects are a great example for the community to show what a group of people can get accomplished when they work together. The Class of 2026 was recognized for their accomplishments Thursday, June 11th at the Leadership Stockton Class of 2026 Graduation Dinner.

Project Summary:

Leadership Stockton Class of 2026 successfully completed two impactful community projects focused on supporting children, families, and youth throughout Stockton. Together, these projects create safer, more welcoming environments where families can access services and students can thrive.

Family Justice Center Childcare Room

To help remove barriers for parents seeking critical services, the class designed and furnished a dedicated childcare room within the new SJC Family Justice Center located in Downtown Stockton and hosted by the Child Abuse Prevention Council of San Joaquin.

The space provides a safe, engaging environment for children while parents meet with service providers and access support. Through donations, volunteer efforts, and community partnerships, the room was transformed into a welcoming, child-friendly space filled with educational materials, toys, and activities that promote comfort, learning, and peace of mind for families during difficult times.

Bear Creek High School Courtyard Revitalization

Recognizing the importance of belonging and student well-being, the class transformed an underutilized courtyard at Bear Creek High School into a vibrant gathering space designed to foster connection, pride, and engagement. The project included landscaping improvements, seating areas, donor recognition elements through legacy bricks, and enhancements that create a more inviting campus environment for students and staff. Through fundraising, sponsorships, and community volunteerism, the revitalized courtyard will serve as a lasting legacy that supports student mental wellness and school pride for years to come. The class will be holding a ribbon cutting on June 22, 2026 at 2:00pm at Bear Creek High School, 10555 Thornton Rd., Stockton, CA 95209, to celebrate the completion of the project.

Together, these projects reflect Leadership Stockton Class of 2026’s commitment to collaboration, service, and community impact. With the support of local businesses, nonprofit organizations, government partners, and volunteers, the class created meaningful spaces that strengthen families, empower youth, and leave a lasting positive mark on Stockton.
