08/04/2026
At California Water Service (Cal Water), we are committed to providing safe, clean, affordable, and reliable drinking water to the communities we serve. As part of this commitment, we share annual Consumer Confidence Reports for all our districts that include detailed information on water quality, supply sources, and compliance with health standards.
In our Stockton district, in 2025, we conducted 23,926 tests on 3,432 water samples for 237 constituents. We are pleased to confirm that we met every primary and secondary federal and state water quality standard last year.
Protecting our customers’ health and safety is our highest priority. That’s why we take proactive steps like consistent and thorough testing along with making significant investments in maintaining and improving our infrastructure.
Cal Water supports water quality through:
- Conducting more than 600,000 water quality tests per year for more than 300 contaminants in its state-certified, state-of-the-art lab.
- Investing in technologies and infrastructure to remove chemicals, contaminants, and other pollutants from the raw water supply.
- Maintaining and upgrading the water system infrastructure needed to transport water from its source through pumps, tanks, and pipes to customers’ homes.
