The Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that nominations are now being accepted for the prestigious 2025 ATHENA Leadership Award, the 2025 ATHENA Young Professional Leadership Award, and the 2025 ATHENA Youth Leadership Award. These awards honor exceptional individuals who demonstrate outstanding leadership, mentorship, and dedication to the community. Understanding the ATHENA Awards

ATHENA International partners with hundreds of chambers of commerce, colleges & universities, corporations, women’s organizations and affiliate communities in 48 states and 11 countries. Over 8,000 leaders have been recognized with the ATHENA Leadership award in over 500 regions worldwide. The Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce is home to one of the longest running ATHENA programs in the nation, with the first Stockton ATHENA Award being presented in 1986. The ATHENA Young Professional Leadership Award was introduced locally in November 2010 and the ATHENA Youth Leadership Award was introduced both locally and national in 2024 with Stockton presenting the first ever ATHENA Youth Leadership Award in ATHENA International history.

ATHENA International is a catalyst for developing diverse, transformative leaders who create a balance in leadership voices worldwide. We ignite, amplify and celebrate girls, women and allies through experiential programs that empower them to discover and activate the transformative leader within.

Qualifications for Nomination

ATHENA Leadership Award (no age restriction) ATHENA Young Professional Leadership Award (must be under 40 years of age on October 1, 2025) ATHENA Youth Leadership Award (must be under 18 years of age on December 1, 2025)

To be eligible for an ATHENA Award nomination, individuals must meet the following criteria:

• Demonstrates The Eight Principles of Enlightened Leadership™ in all aspects of their life.
• Demonstrates excellence, creativity and initiative in their business or profession.
• Provides valuable service to improve the quality of life for others in their community.
• Actively assists women in achieving their full leadership potential.

Nominations must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 8, 2025.
