Kaiser Permanente School of Allied Health Sciences (KPSAHS) is launching a Master of Science in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) Concentration, a 24-month continuous program designed to prepare students for careers as Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFTs).

This program offers a comprehensive combination of didactic learning, observational training, and supervised clinical experience. Graduates will be academically prepared for LMFT licensure upon completing the additional requirements set by the relevant state licensing board. (Requirements do vary by state, so applicants are encouraged to consult the licensing board where they plan to practice.)

By the end of the program, students will have developed the theoretical foundation, clinical skills, self-awareness, and cultural humility essential to serving individuals, families, and communities effectively. Training will be supported by KPSAHS faculty and experienced clinical supervisors at partnering medical centers, medical offices, counseling centers, and mental health clinics across Northern California.
