Seeking Members for the Climate Action Plan Advisory Committee

As part of the Stockton Climate Action and Adaptation Plan (CAAP), we’re excited to share an opportunity for community members to join the Climate Action Plan Advisory Committee (CAPAC)—and we’d love for you to consider applying.

What is the Climate Action Plan Advisory Committee?

This committee will provide community-based input and guidance throughout the development of Stockton’s regional CAAP, helping ensure that local climate solutions reflect the needs, priorities, and values of Stockton residents — especially those most impacted by climate change. This committee serves as an advisory body to the City Council and makes recommendations on CAAP activities within the City of Stockton.

Who can serve on the committee? The committee is made up of members from five (5) different interest areas (Non-Profit, Business, Developer, Labor, and Environmental). The committee will meet regularly throughout 2025–2026, with a mix of in-person and virtual options.
