Community Development Block Grant and Emergency Solutions Grant Notice of Funding Availability

The City of Stockton Economic Development Department (EDD) has issued a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for the 2025-2026 program year for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) public service and homeless service funds. The funds made available are provided through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

The City is seeking proposals from eligible nonprofit organizations (organizations and agencies with the experience and qualifications to administer federal/state grant programs) that engage in the delivery of public service programs that directly benefit low-income families and/or homeless individuals or families within the City of Stockton. Organizations interested in applying for these federal grant funds must attend a virtual mandatory application workshop on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. Applications will only be accepted from organizations whose representative(s) attend the mandatory workshop.

The virtual mandatory workshop will be hosted via Webex. Interested organizations are instructed to register and join the meeting online. The link to the Webex meeting will also be available at City of Stockton Housing webpage The deadline for application submissions is 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 15, 2025.

The City of Stockton anticipates making available up to $680,000 in CDBG funding, and $260,000 in ESG funding (amounts may change subject to actual HUD awards).
