The U.S. Small Business Administration free program for emerging leaders

The application portal for the 2024 SBA T.H.R.I.V.E. Emerging Leaders Reimagined program is now open. This program is designed to provide free, comprehensive business coaching and education to CEOs of small businesses in our communities, looking to take their businesses to the next level.

The U.S. Small Business Administration is once again providing the T.H.R.I.V.E. Program (Train Hope Rise Innovate Venture Expand) to small businesses at no cost, but we need your help with recruiting! Please share this information during your meetings, in your newsletters, on your social media channels- wherever possible.

Participants will acquire MBA-equivalent knowledge to amplify their leadership skills, and build relationships with a community of business peers, advisors, and experts.

This program is community-based and supported by the U.S. Small Business Administration.

T.H.R.I.V.E. Emerging Leaders Reimagined provides entrepreneurship education and training for executives of small, poised-for-growth companies. This intensive executive-level training series offers opportunities for small business owners to work with professional coaches and mentors, gain skills needed to grow, and develop connections with peers, local leaders, and the financial community. The curriculum is taught by experienced Subject Matter Experts and includes a mix of virtual and in-person sessions. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from a cohort of accomplished peers with diverse perspectives and life experiences, and to build a nationwide business network for life.

The SBA Sacramento District Office will be hosting cohorts in Redding and Citrus Heights.

Eligibility Qualifications:

• The T.H.R.I.V.E. Emerging Leaders Reimagined advanced training series is open to small business owners and executives who:
• Have annual revenues of at least $100,000
• Have been in business for at least two years
• Have at least one employee other than themselves (Can be part time.)
• Can commit to completing the entire program, including coaching, submitting assignments, participating during in-person sessions, and reaching out for help
• Are coachable, ready to be challenged and supported, and willing to put in the necessary work to accelerate growth

• Applications are open NOW until April 28, 2024
• The program runs from June 18 through December 4, 2024
• Attendance is required for the eight in-person sessions at your local cohort
