California Women Lead Appointments Training

Join women from Stockton to learn how you can become appointed to a local or state board or commission. Training will kick off with remarks from Stockton Mayor Kevin Lincoln, San Joaquin Supervisor Paul Canepa and Supervisor Miguel Villapudua. The training will led by CA Women Lead Board Secretary and FPPC Commissioner Catharine Baker followed by a time for women to connect with each other and local leaders. Learn about their experiences, expertise and opportunities to becoming a political appointee on a local or statewide board/commission. Ask questions and find out how women have successfully navigated the local and state government processes, became appointed and accelerate their ability to make an impact.
