CLEAN-UP AND RECOVERY EFFORTS ARE UNDERWAY
Return Sandbags, Report Storm-Related Issues Online, City Parks Remain Closed

STOCKTON, Calif. – Clean-up and recovery activities have been on-going throughout recent storms. As the weather improves, City crews are making repairs and cleaning up debris in the City right-of-way and City parks. San Joaquin County is still seeking information from residents and businesses regarding property damage from the storms.

Sandbags

Please consider returning sandbags to original distribution sites. The City of Stockton will reuse the sand in public works recovery and construction projects. Do not place sand in your waste (garbage, recycling, organics) bins. Sand and sandbags will not be collected curbside.

  • Sandbag returns accepted at sandbag stations – Sandbags can now be returned to the same locations:
    • Oak Park Little League Field parking lot – 3545 Alvarado Ave., 95204
    • Van Buskirk (former) Golf Course – 1740 Houston Ave., 95206 (@ S. Fresno Ave.)

City Parks Remain Closed

City Parks Closed – All City of Stockton parks are closed, due to tree hazards. Please do not access, pass through, or walk near City parks until clean-up is completed, and the City has notified the community that the temporary closure is over.

Reporting Storm-Related Issues

  • Report issues in the public right-of-way – Report issues in the public right-of-way, such as potholes, fallen limbs and trees, non-working signals, streetlights and broken or missing signs to the City of Stockton Municipal Service Center at www.stocktonca.gov/AskStockton or by calling (209) 937-8341.
  • Potholes – Extensive rains and flooding have resulted in numerous potholes on City streets. Please report potholes online through Ask Stockton, and repairs will be scheduled as weather conditions improve.

Residents & Businesses – Reporting Storm Property Damage
