55-HOUR LANE CLOSURE – APRIL 16-19, 2021
#2 (RIGHT) LANE OF NORTHBOUND INTERSTATE 5 AT BEAVER SLOUGH
SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform a 55-hour closure of the #2 (right) lane of northbound Interstate 5 (I-5) at Beaver Slough, just north of Peltier Road in San Joaquin County.
Work will begin at 10:00 p.m. on Friday, April 16, through 5:00 a.m. on Monday, April 19, 2021.
The #1 (left) lane of northbound I-5 will remain open during this closure. No lane closures are required on southbound I-5.
Caltrans will have changeable message signs alerting motorists of the lane closures and potential delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.
This work is part of the I-5 Beaver Slough Bridge Rehabilitation Project that will make necessary repairs to the concrete bridge deck and bridge girders.
This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.
