Does your business currently have an employee on California Paid Family Leave?

The San Joaquin Small Business Resilience Program, also known as the California Paid Family Leave Grant, provides funding to help eligible businesses offset costs while an employee is on leave to care for a loved one or bond with a new child.

To qualify, a business must:

• Be located in San Joaquin County
• Have 1–100 employees
• Currently have an employee on California Paid Family Leave

Eligible businesses may receive:

• Up to $2,000 per employee on Paid Family Leave for businesses with 1–50 employees
• Up to $1,000 per employee on Paid Family Leave for businesses with 51–100 employees

Funding can help cover:

• Employee training and cross-training
• Temporary staffing and workforce coverage
• Recruitment and onboarding
• Business continuity and workforce transition expenses
