The Moving Wall is Returning to Stockton in 2026!

Stockton will once again host a powerful symbol of honor and healing when The Moving Wall returns to the city in 2026. From Thursday, May 14 through Monday, May 18, 2026, the half-size replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial will stand at Weber Point Events Center, open to the public 24 hours a day, free of charge.

For more than 30 years, The Moving Wall has traveled the country, giving communities a chance to experience the solemn beauty of the memorial in Washington, D.C., etched with the names of more than 58,000 service members who gave their lives in Vietnam. The Wall’s return to Stockton offers residents and visitors an opportunity to reflect, remember, and pay tribute. Voices from the Community

“The Moving Wall is more than a monument—it’s a reminder of the sacrifices made by our brothers and sisters in arms,” said Marvin Hernandez Garcia, Chair of United Veterans Council of San Joaquin County. “When people see the names, it becomes deeply personal. It’s an experience that stays with you.”
