Get ready to celebrate Independence Day in the heart of downtown Stockton! The annual 4th of July Celebration will be held at the Weber Point Events Center, 221 N. Center Street. On Friday, July 4, 2025, the waterfront will come alive with family-friendly festivities, food, music, and a spectacular fireworks display. This event is free and open to the public. Gather with friends, family, and neighbors for a memorable day of patriotic fun on the downtown waterfront.
The Independence Day festivities kick off with the 4th of July Parade, proudly hosted by the United Veterans Council of San Joaquin County, starting at 11:00 a.m. Gates to the Weber Point Events Center will open at 5:00 p.m., welcoming guests for an evening of celebration along the downtown waterfront. The grand finale – a 20-minute fireworks show – is scheduled to begin at approximately 9:30 p.m. Please note: the Weber Point Events Center will close immediately following the fireworks display.
Artisanal vendors and food trucks will be on-site offering the variety, creativity, and diversity of our community. There will be activities for kids, family-friendly entertainment, and live bands throughout the evening. Bring blankets and lawn chairs to relax and enjoy the celebration.
To ensure a safe environment, hard top coolers, alcohol, glass containers, bottles, personal fireworks, and pets will not be permitted at the facility. Smoking is prohibited. Event security and law enforcement personnel will uphold restrictions.
