INTERESTED IN JOINING OUR BOARD?
The volunteer leadership of the Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce provides the energy and direction for programs and services for our members. Board members serve a vital role in establishing policy and providing guidance to committees and staff.
The mission of the Chamber is to aggressively develop and promote an economically vibrant business community.
The Stockton Chamber Board of Directors is comprised of individuals who concur with and will commit to the following requirements:
- Applicant, or the applicant’s employer, must be a Chamber Member in good standing at the time of application and must remain in good standing throughout their entire three-year Board term, July 2025 – June 2028
- Attend Board meetings which are held the last Thursday of each month at 4:00 PM except for July, November and December. Only three unexcused absences per year are allowed.
- Are expected to serve on at least one Chamber committee in addition to the Board.
- Assume responsibility for expenses for official Chamber meetings.
- Become familiar and informed with Chamber programs and benefits.
- Commit to sponsoring one or more new member per year by actively promoting the benefits of Chamber membership.
- Attend Chamber functions and serve as a liaison between the membership they represent and the Board.
