AUGUST 2008 -  The ATHENA Award celebrates the potential of all women as valued members and leaders of the community and recognizes those who support them. The ATHENA Award honors individuals who strive toward the highest levels of professional accomplishment…women who excel in their chosen field, have demonstrated support for the advancement of business and professional women, have devoted time and energy to their community in a meaningful way and who also open paths so that others may follow.

Criteria:

 Demonstrates excellence in their business/profession

 Provides outstanding service to their business/profession and to their community

 Exhibits initiative and creativity

 Demonstrates support of the goals of professional women and provides unselfish assistance on their behalf

Nominations for the ATHENA Award must be received by the Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce no later than September 5, 2008 on the official form found on the website www.Stocktonchamber.org.
